BUYING

We can review the Agreement for Sale and Purchase before you sign it or draft it if there is no real estate agent involved. Once it’s signed we can complete all the legal requirements on your behalf including searching and advising on the tile and registering your mortgage. We will ensure you are kept informed every step of the way, and we will let you know as soon as the settlement is completed and you can have the keys!

If you are buying your first home, congratulations! This is an exciting time, and it’s likely to be the biggest purchase you’ve made in your life so far. Most first home buyers are a little unsure of what to do, and perhaps feel overwhelmed and uncertain. We know all that’s involved and can help you every step of the way.

 

SELLING

If you are selling your home, we can advise you on the legal aspects such as your obligations to the buyer, write up the sale and purchase agreement if you sell privately, and check over any offers from buyers. Once the agreement is signed, we’ll liaise with the buyer’s lawyer to get the conditions satisfied and settlement completed. We’ll deal with your bank to discharge the mortgage and make sure the rates are paid up.
