Paying off the mortgage for your home or property is a huge accomplishment and although you no longer have a loan, the bank still has a security over your property and will not automatically release the security. 

You need to instruct a lawyer to ask the bank to discharge the mortgage if you want your title to be clear, and we are here to help you with that. 

If you may need to borrow more money from the bank in the future, then you should leave things as is so you can then can avoid the costs of having to register a new mortgage.
